19:00Closing days
Date by casino, the next twelve months
From 12 Oct 2026 to 30 Sep 2027: the days the casinos themselves name as closed or special. A day that is not listed is not confirmed as open.
Principle: “not listed” does not mean “open”. It only means the house has not published anything for that date. Check the website shortly before you go.

Scroll sideways inside the table. Holiday dates calculated for 2026/2027 and checked against the official holiday calendars of the states.
Why the states differ
Public holidays and “quiet days” (stille Tage) are set by each state’s holiday law (Feiertagsgesetz). On quiet days, entertainment is restricted – that is why many Spielbanken close on Karfreitag, Volkstrauertag and Totensonntag. Allerheiligen is a holiday only in some states; Buß- und Bettag only in Saxony.
- Saxony: the Saxon Spielbank law itself lists the closed days, including Reformationstag, Ostersonntag and Buß- und Bettag.
- North Rhine-Westphalia: the NRW Spielbank law closes the houses on Karfreitag, Allerheiligen, Volkstrauertag, Totensonntag and at Christmas.
- Lower Saxony: a state ordinance sets the closed days; play also pauses in the early morning hours.
- Bavaria: the state-run houses publish their own longer list, including Aschermittwoch, Gründonnerstag and Karsamstag.
- Baden-Württemberg: Allerheiligen and Buß- und Bettag are closed days in addition to the usual quiet days.
- Saarland: the Spielbank ordinance lists the closed days; play from the previous evening may continue until 04:00.
- Schleswig-Holstein: Kiel publishes reduced hours instead of full closure on Volkstrauertag, Totensonntag and Christmas Day.
- Saxony-Anhalt: we could not verify a state-wide list; Magdeburg names its own days with exact start times.
